Happy St. Patricks Day

Oh WOW, I can't even express the fun I had with Trayjan and Jie after I picked them up after work today. We went to eat at one of our favorite restaurants...the kids love it, because on Wednesday they have a Balloon Artist/Clown named Giggles that makes Balloon characters for the kids. Trayjan got an Alien and Jie got a beautiful flower. It was alot of fun for all of us.

The kids didn't realize I had a special fun time planned once we got home. Such excitement when they realized they had a couple special bags full of fun little prizes and candy. They loved it, but what was the most fun, was a Rose Art Kit, that they got to make their own Bouncy Balls. Very cool and the balls were awesome!

The kids had a first tonight....GREEN KOOLAID.....hahaha! I grew up on Koolaid, but no way do my kids get it, two quarts gets 1 cup of sugar, HOLY COW! Now I know why the get 100% Juicy Juice. Well, it was a blast, they love drinking out of fun little glasses, so I picked up some shot glasses so we could have tiny little glasses. Needless to say, they picture looks like a fun little Apple Pucker Adult drink, but it is for sure Green Koolaid and the kids loved it so much, we did it three times.....cheering with each glass of Koolaid.

We also all put on Matching Shamrock Tattoos....Such a wonderful and fun, memorable night! I love these amazing children God has blessed me with!

Wish I'd thought of green kool aid! Looks like you had a great day. I love how the girls are learning about all the holidays and are very excited about them. Thanks for sharing.

We always had green food for St. Pats day when the kids were little. I always used the kool aid. I even made green mashed potatoes. The boys said they didn't taste very good, I thought they tasted the same as white ones. I miss that, but Chloe was dressed in green from head to toe yesterday. She won the Leprechaun prize at pre-school.

Kevin's Irish so St. Patrick's Day is special to us, too! Although this year with Philip's birthday so close and Elijah just coming home, we didn't do anything special. Maybe next year??

Cute pictures of adorable children.

Love,
