Dance Recital

Jie was a doll at her recital. She was so distracted by the crowd, she barely performed. I think she did 3 to 5 things the entire 40 minute time it took for the recital. One thing I'm thankful for is even through all that was going on, she still was smiling. She was very happy to be there and loved every minute of all the fabulous video daddy took, the pictures mommy took and her flowers and help Big Brother, Trayj tried to give her. She was very proud of herself!

What a blessing each day brings:

waking up each day is so easy, knowing I have two beautiful children to spend time with. I found a newspaper clippng from our trip to China, Helen our guide had given it to us. It was the newspaper clipping of when Jie was found on the steps of SWI and the clipping was put in the found children section. It had stated her birthdate and said she had big eyes and a regular face. As I looked at the little face, I can hardly recognize this little face as our precious girl. I know that I have all of her future, but what I wouldn't give to know what she was like as a baby. I'm blessed with every minute of Trayjan's life.

I know not long from now, I will know Jie longer then I have not known her, which will be an amazing time to celebrate. I love how many times Trayjan's ask me about when he was born and I love to tell the story. Jie's story is different, but nontheless just as special. Jie looked at an album the other day with family pictures of Trayjan with mommy and daddy, and she broke my heart when she kept saying, "Where Jie go?". I kept telling her she wasn't home yet, but it just did not satisfy her, so i went to get the 1st family photo taken when she arrived home and added it to her little album. She was very content after I add it. The beautiful thing is she doesn't remember a time without us.

What shall we do with our lives, we can just sit idle and wonder where our time shall be spent, or we can enjoy each minute, creating a life for our families filled with laughter and memories.

A wonderful Birthday Celebration for our Boy!

Trayjan had the most wonderful birthday. He began his celebration with a big party at his favorite Bounce House Gym, Bounce Zone, where he invited his friends and cousins. He was able to see friends from kindergarten and a few close friends along with his cousins who he adores spending time with. We then had a cookout at the house where we had a Water Slide Party for him. He was able to have a friend stay over for a sleepover that night. On Wedneday which was his actual birthday we went to play bowling then glow in the dark putt putt. Daddy has taken a few days off work for his birthday so he is getting alot of play and fun time. On his birthday he chose our meals for the day, breakfast was Ice Cream Cake, Lunch was BK and dinner was a favorite of ours, Michaelangelos. They have a fun Balloon Artist in Wednesdays and both kids love it. Since it was Trayjan's birthday, he got two of his favorite balloon characters made. It is so exciting to celebrate birthday's and holiday's in our home. We have always loved to celebrate and the kids make it all worth celebrating, they are such a joy to watch and each experience they have is like a first for us. They are such great Joys in our lives.

Jie is loving to dance lately, mostly with Daddy (because he's so silly), but she also wanted to dance with Trayjan, so I was fortunate enough to grab my camera to get a cute video. She starts dance class next week and also loves her little tutu and dance shoes.

Wii fun with Grandpa & Grandma

Last night I was able to attend a Digital Scrapbooking demo with my best friend Rhonda, and my parents came down to stay with Trayj & Jie. They had a wonderful time as Trayjan played Wii with Grandpa as Jie and Grandma cheered him on. Poor Grandpa didn't have anyone cheering for him. I guess they picked the right competitor as Trayjan knocked Grandpa out while playing boxing. I thought they were both going to send their remotes through the TV. We were laughing so hard at how they were completely into it. It was priceless! Trayjan was having a wonderful time. Jie was able to play as well, she knocked Trayj down a couple times, but he did end up getting her with a KO as well.
