Jie reading in her room on Thursday morning. She was talking to what we thought was to herself for quite sometime, so Travis wanted to know who she was talking to. Upon entering her room, we realized she was reading one of her favorite books...Thomas! She loves her Barney book too.
1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Trayjan's having a ball!
Trayjan has began his 3rd year of Baseball, he is such a little athlete. He loves Baseball, as much as he loves Basketball. He's so much fun to watch. This year Trayjan's playing 1st base. He is doing such a great job. We are so very proud of him. Here are a couple pictures of his 1st two games, as well as a fun little surprise he made for Daddy while he was out of town. Mom of course took every opportunity to enjoy him wanting to use my Cricut and scrapbooking equipment. He is a true boy in and out, so him wanting to do anything crafty was a huge surprise. Dad will be very surprised and impressed....Trayj did it all by himself.

NOT REALLY A GOOD IDEA
Well, for Christmas Santa brought Trayj a mini 4-wheeler, however, Santa did not make certain it worked after putting it together from the box, so for the last couple months it has been in the shop being worked on. Not the best way to spend your time with a new present. Well, we finally got it back on Wednesday and mom and dad were very excited to see Trayjan try it out. Needless to say, it really didn't go well. After we convinced him to try it out, he crashed within a few seconds of being on it. I laughed so hard, until realizing his little knee was bruised from where it fell on him. I felt horrible, but thankfully he wasn't hurt bad. I think mommy is done promoting the 4 wheeler adventures until he gets a bit bigger.

VACATION
We returned from a wonderful time spent together on our vacation on Wednesday. Trayjan and Daddy chose this vacation to New York. It was fun, exciting, busy and interesting. We stayed near Time Square and boy was that an experience of a lifetime. We enjoyed ourselves but it was mass chaos the entire time. It's nice to visit, but certainely not a way to get away and relax. The beatiful thing was the kids enjoyed the entire trip, even the driving (I think it was the excitment of where we were going).
While in New York, we made our first stop to the USS Intredpid. It is a ship that fought in WWII, it was amazing to see and Trayjan loved it. Our next stop was to Time Square, then the largest Toys R Us in the world. Trayjan and Jie both absolutely loved it. They had so many items that our toys r us doesn't have, plus they had amazing Lego exhibits for Trayj and Thomas the Train exhibits for Jie (she loves Thomas the Train). We as well got to visit the Statue of Liberty and the 9/11 memorial sight. Thankfully we had a couple days that the weather was pleasant and sunny, but by the 3rd day we opted to go ahead and head back west to make our stay at Hershey. The kids love Hershey and by the time we got there the weather was back to sunny from rain and snow. Hershey is such a fun place to visit. The kids love Hershey World, and it seems each time we go, we learn something new about the process of making Chocolate.
